The evocative term Morgan’s Orchard comes from the card game Cribbage and refers to a hand of two pairs. I’ve used this as an analogy for how the body and soul connection feels.
Morgan’s Orchard began as an accidental finding of a face within the chipped paint of this old accordian case. This was isolated and also replicated as two pairs on either end. The idea of pairs or ‘dopplegangers’ is a useful way of getting a sense of how the self feels through the lens of the other.
